Psi Steel
How would you determine the thickness of titanium thats equivalent of 200 feet of 5000 psi reinforced concrete
Also.if an object can penetrate that, (the 200 feet of 5000 psi of reinforced concrete). Once it firsts penetrates the rate of speed is incredible, then little by little, the object will slow down until it reaches that 200 feet and stops.
So if you exchange that material from reinfored concrete probably with 40,000 or 60,000 psi steel rebar to titanium then the decrease in speed of the object when penetrating will vary tremendously due to the extreme difference between the two materials since titanium has 200,000 psi or if you use pure steel sheets that are real thick, how thick an amount you need?
You will need an amount that is 1/40 the thickness of concrete. That is 5 feet if I understand the question above. It would probably work better to have it in the form of several layers of titanium sheets.
The problem is that this is going to be expensive. I do not see the advantage over concrete unless you have limited land.
